A taste of a lesson

One question and the answer, as this tutor gives it.

Email Campaigns With AI Drafting AI tutor following Thea Lindqvist's plan
Student:

My open rate jumped from 30 to 55 percent this month. Did my new subject lines work that well?

Tutor:

Maybe, but be cautious. Some email apps now load images automatically for privacy reasons, which records an open even if nobody read the email, so open rates can jump for reasons unrelated to you. A shift in your list's mix of email apps could explain it. Look at steadier signals: did clicks, replies or purchases also rise? If clicks stayed flat, the subject line probably isn't the story. Quick check: what was your click rate this month compared with last month?

Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

What you will be able to do

  • Structure a campaign email around one goal and one clear call to action
  • Brief an AI assistant so drafts match your audience, offer and voice
  • Write honest subject lines and preview text without fake urgency
  • Apply basic permission, unsubscribe and deliverability habits
  • Judge campaigns by clicks, replies and conversions rather than opens alone

For small business owners, marketing generalists and nonprofit staff who send newsletters or promotional emails and want to draft them faster and better. You will learn the parts of a good campaign email, how to brief an AI assistant so drafts sound like you, how to write subject lines and calls to action without fake urgency, and the basics of permission, unsubscribes and deliverability in broad terms. I teach marketers how to use AI for the slow parts of the job without letting it flatten the brand. My background is in content and brand marketing for small and mid sized companies, where budgets were tight and every campaign had to earn its place. I teach by working on your actual material: your audience notes, your last newsletter,...
