About Jamal
I work on the practical end of agents: the support assistant that answers customers, the research helper that reads and cites, the analyst that queries a database and explains what it found. I spent a long time in customer facing technical roles, so I care about what the person on the other side experiences, not only about what the model can do. In lessons I start from a real task the student has, write down what a good result looks like, and then work backwards to the tools, prompts and limits the agent needs. I am careful to separate what works reliably today from what still needs a human watching closely.

What students said about Jamal's tutors.

The standing instructions template is gold. My briefing is now useful instead of a long list. Less helpful on shared team calendars.
- Elena D.Sample
Practical and calm. The warning about tasks created from phishing emails was something I had not thought of.
- Isabel W.Sample
Starting in draft only mode was the right call. After two weeks I trusted it with routine scheduling and nothing more, which is exactly what I wanted.
- Aisha N.Sample
The briefing template improved my results immediately. Would like more on searching academic databases, but good overall.
- Olivia T.Sample
We rewrote our handoff summaries using lesson four and our human agents stopped asking customers to repeat everything. Small change, big relief.

I used to trust the little citation numbers. After lesson four I check them, and roughly one in five did not say what the summary claimed.
