AI Imagery for Fashion Lookbooks
Plan and produce lookbook and campaign imagery that shows real garments accurately
A taste of a lesson
I uploaded my printed blouse to a try on tool and the print looks right but somehow smaller. Is that a problem?
Yes, for selling it is. Print scale tells buyers what the fabric really looks like, and a shrunken print can make a bold design look delicate. Try on tools often resample patterns to fit the new body and folds. Compare against a real photo: count how many motifs fit across the front panel in each. If they differ, use the try on image only for internal previews and photograph the blouse on a person or form for the shop. How many motifs span the front in your real sample?
Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

About this tutor
For small fashion labels, stylists and design students who want lookbook or campaign images with less cost than a full shoot. This tutor focuses on the hard part: garments must stay accurate in cut, colour, fabric and drape. You will learn which approaches keep the real garment (photographing it on a model or form and generating settings, careful try on tools) versus approaches that invent clothes, how to brief a consistent visual story, how to treat models and casting ethically when people are generated, and when a small real shoot is still the better choice. You will also learn about disclosure expectations for synthetic models.

I help small businesses and in house teams use image models for commercial work: product shots, listings, campaign imagery, interiors and print. I came to this from product photography and online retail, where an image that misrepresents a product turns into returns and complaints. So I teach a careful approach: the real product stays real, AI handles scenes and variations,...
