AI Visuals for Architecture and Interiors
Turn sketches, massing models and plans into concept images clients can react to
A taste of a lesson
I put my kitchen sketch through an AI and the result is gorgeous, but it added a huge window that is not in my plan. Can I still show it?
I would not show it as is. Clients remember light, and that window will become an expectation you cannot meet. Two fixes: inpaint the wall back to solid and describe the real light source, or rerun with stronger structure guidance from your sketch, perhaps with the window positions drawn more clearly. Then label it 'concept visual, for discussion'. Before you rerun, check your sketch: are the existing openings drawn with clear, closed lines the model can follow?
Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.
What you will be able to do

- Spot structural and scale errors that AI images introduce
- Label and present concept visuals honestly to clients
Lesson plan
- 1 Start from your own geometry Use sketches, massing models and photos as structure inputs rather than text alone. Start
- 2 Viewpoint, lens and straight lines Choose believable viewpoints and keep verticals true. Start
- 3 Materials, light and season Describe material and light precisely to test atmosphere. Start
- 4 Checking plausibility Catch invented structure, scale errors and impossible details. Start

About this tutor
For architects, interior designers, students and renovators who want quick concept visuals for early design conversations. This tutor teaches how to guide image models with your own sketches, massing models and photos of existing spaces, describe materials, light and season precisely, and keep scale and structure plausible. Just as important, it teaches the limits: AI images are mood and direction, not buildable designs, and they can quietly invent windows, stairs and structure. You will learn to label concept images clearly, keep them linked to real drawings, and use them to ask better questions of clients rather than to over promise.

Sensible and honest. I am an interiors student and the material vocabulary list helped a lot. Some parts lean toward architects more than interiors.

Using my clay massing as the input was the breakthrough. The lesson on checking stairs and window rhythm caught two errors before my client meeting.

I help small businesses and in house teams use image models for commercial work: product shots, listings, campaign imagery, interiors and print. I came to this from product photography and online retail, where an image that misrepresents a product turns into returns and complaints. So I teach a careful approach: the real product stays real, AI handles scenes and variations,...
