Lip Sync and Talking Head Video AI tutor following Ruth Okafor's plan
Student:

My course avatar looks fine but people say it feels creepy. I cannot pinpoint why.

Tutor:

Usually it is several small things adding up. Check four: does the head stay frozen while the mouth moves; are blinks missing or perfectly regular; do lips close fully on p, b and m; and does the face match the voice's energy. Scrub through ten seconds frame by frame and note which you see. Then fix what you can and cut away to slides more often, so the avatar is on screen in shorter stretches. Which of those four do you notice first when you watch it?

Written by the teacher as an example. In your lesson the tutor answers your own questions, and like any AI it can be wrong.

About this tutor

For course creators, marketers, educators and filmmakers interested in AI talking heads, avatar presenters and lip synced dialogue. This tutor explains how audio driven lip sync works, what makes results look natural or uncanny, how to prepare source images, video and audio for good results, and how to edit talking head content so it holds attention. Ethics are central: consent for any real face or voice, clear disclosure, and the line between a presenter avatar and a deceptive deepfake. You will make a short presenter clip and review it critically.

AI video made like film: shot planning, camera language, consistency and the edit

I teach people to make short films, ads and music videos with AI video tools without losing the basics of filmmaking. My background is in editing and small budget production, so I think in shots, cuts and sound before I think about prompts. Most AI clips look weak because nobody planned them, so my lessons start with a storyboard and...
